Boys Track & Field Awards are TONIGHT at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria.

Boys basketball camp forms are due by June 1st.

Yearbooks can still be purchased online at smartpay.com before June 1st.  There are limited quantities available. 

Registration forms for the Jim Myers 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament are available in the Athletic Office.

Students who have signed up for AP courses for next year are reminded that June 1st is the deadline to drop classes.  After June 1st, a student will receive WF for dropping.   Also, all summer assignments must also be completed or you will receive a WF.

Students taking the ACT in June are reminded to take your admission ticket, two #2 pencils, an approved calculator and photo ID.   If you do not have photo ID, see Mrs. Tootle in Guidance for an identification letter.

Seniors need to pay fees ASAP or your diploma and transcript will be on hold.

Prom pictures.....   If you haven't picked yours up yet, you may pick them up in the Activities/Athletics Dept.  See Rachel Leonard.

There will be a meeting for all girls who will be trying out for volleyball this fall May 22nd (today) after school in the lecture hall.   The meeting will last 15-20 minutes.

Awards night for all baseball players, both JV & Varsity, will be held Tuesday, May 22nd at 6PM in the Lecture Hall!

Any boy interested in golf needs to see Coach Keith Myers in room 142 for new materials and golf league info.

An informational meeting about next fall's plays will be held next Wednesday, May 23rd after school in the theater.   
There will be TWO plays to audition for and you should attend the meeting to get more information about auditions.  The plays will be The Outsiders and Who Will Carry the Word?

Anyone who has not passed any section of the OGT should stop in to see your guidance counselor to schedule summer school!

College-bound seniors --  Brighten Your Future Grant applications are available in the Guidance Office.

Sports physicals are this Monday, May 21st at 5:30 pm in the Medical Arts Building.  The cost is $10.00 and checks should be made to LHS-Athletics.

Mr. Kindinger's work study students are reminded that the AWARDS banquet is tonight at 6:30 pm in the High School cafeteria.   Bring your parents and yourself for food and recognition!

Boys interested in playing soccer next fall should plan to submit paperwork for summer activities to Mr. Riddlebarger in room 154 during announcements Friday morning.

OGT results have been emailed to teachers.   Students should check with their teacher to get their scores.   Also, students receiving Walmart cards will get them on Wednesday during the OGT cookout.

LOGAN FIRE DEPARTMENT EXPLORERS POST -- The Logan Fire Department Explorers Post is hosting an Open House on Wednesday, May 16th starting at 5:00 pm.   Fire & Emergency Service Career Exploring is open to young men and women ages 14 (and completed 8th grade) through 20 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of Fire & Emergency Services.   For questions please contact the Lead Advisor, Richard Coakley at 740-974-4019.    Flyers are available in the High School Guidance Office.

Students who were awarded a local scholarship are reminded that it appropriate to send a thank you note to the sponsor of your scholarship.  IF you don't know to whom the thank you should be sent, see Mr. Roush. 
Also, any senior who received a scholarship agreement during scholars' night, the agreement needs to be signed and returned to the Guidance Office as soon as possible.

85 Seniors still owe school fees.   School fees need to be paid or your diploma will be held.

 To all archery members and anyone else interested.   This Saturday there is a 3-D shoot in Logan that you can attend.   There will be 30 3-D targets set up in a wooded area for you to shoot.  Any type of bow is allowed (including the school Genesis bow).  Awards will be given.   Only $5.00.   Stop by the High School Office for a flyer with more details.

The Key Club celebration scheduled for May 2nd has been canceled.   If you have questions, see Mrs. Mayes (Largent) in Room #143.

American Red Cross will be here at LHS on May 2nd for a Blood Drive.   An ARC Representative will be here today during lunch periods to sign up students that want to donate.   If you are 16 yrs. old, you will need a signed parental permission slip.  Students 17 yrs. old or older may sign up without one.  MRS. KENNARD, NURSE,  NEEDS NHS VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH THE BLOOD DRIVE.
