Reminder: Hope Blooms Generation RX and any student interested in helping with Post Prom, there will be a meeting in the Lecture Hall today from 3-4pm.

Chieftain Scholar applications were distributed to juniors in AP classes. Remember that applications are due back to Mrs. Burns in room 119 no later than Friday, March 7th. Extra applications are available in the guidance office.

Students attending the State Thespian Conference are reminded that final payments for the conference are due Thursday February 27th.

Students wishing to join the Thespian Troupe are reminded that application forms are due to Mrs. Riggs no later than Friday, February 28th.

Beyond the Bell - Yoga begins today, Wed. 2/19 in room 116 with Mrs. Lewis. It will be from 3-4 pm every Wednesday this quarter. Sign up & stop by!


The Generation Now Beyond the Bell group will be accepting donations for the local dog shelter. These donations will be used to sponsor Pull Fees for rescues. The donation jar will be made available during 4th period lunch or in the Athletic Office, Thursday, Feb. 20th to the 27th.


Student Council: Reminder - there is a student council meeting today, Wed., 2/19 after school in Mr. Groves room, 307.

Thursday, 2/20 reminder
: Staff & students, we will be running on the 2 hour early dismissal schedule this Thursday due to Parent/Teacher conferences from 3-6:30 that day.

Beyond the Bell students: No clubs this Thursday due to Parent/Teacher conferences.


Driver's Ed classes: Reminder, all Beyond the Bell students wishing to take Driver's Ed beginning Monday, February 24th must turn in their forms to Mrs. Huntsberger, or Mrs. Cook in the Athletic Office by Thursday Feb. 20th.

Hope Blooms/OSU Generation RX Initiative: Meeting today, Monday February 17th from 3-4 pm in the Lecture Hall. Committees will be assigned for various projects.

Boys outdoor track: Those students interested in participating need to attend a meeting in the Lecture Hall on Wed., February 19th, after the A.M. announcements.  Monday March 3rd @ 6pm is the meeting that both the athlete & the parent must attend, per J. Sturgell.

Student Council: There will be a short meeting on Tuesday, February 18th during A.M. announcements.

Celebrate My Drive survey: All students have been emailed to your school email account, a Celebrate My Drive survey. Please take time to check your email & vote for how the Leader in Me money is spent.

February 14 is the last day applications can be turned in for dual enrollment.  If you are eligible for dual enrollment get your application to the guidance office ASAP!


Anyone interested in playing softball should meet right after school Thursday, February 13 in room 257, Mr. Walsh's room.



There will be a Make Up Day Monday February 17, 2014.


Sophomores:  Now is the time to apply to Tri County.  If you have not turned in an application please see your guidance counselor as soon as possible.


The Baking Club will be selling Rootbeer floats at lunch on Thursday for $2.00 and s'mores brownie bars at lunch on Friday for $1.00.


College bound seniors are reminded that Feb. 15 is the deadline for completing the FAFSA for the majority of universities.
