Cheerleader Free Throw Contest
Cheerleaders will be selling $1 Raffle tickets to participate in Hot Shot Contest during Friday's Pep Assembly.  Names for the contest will be determined by drawing tickets from each grade with staff included.  All proceeds go to "Hope for Haiti".  Donations are also welcome.

Ceramics
1st semester ceramics students are reminded to pick up their ceramic projects this week from the ART rooms.

NAEP Testing for Seniors
Selected seniors will be participating in the National Assessment of Education Progress testing next week on Tuesday, February 2nd.  A pre-test meeting with those selected students will be held Friday 1/29 in Theater after AM announcements.  Testing list was placed in Teacher's Mailboxes.

American Red Cross -- Blood Drive
LHS Blood Drive on February 10th.  Minimum age of donation is age 16 with parental permission.  For questions or to be placed on waiting list -- see Mrs. Kennard, school nurse.

1st period teachers will pass out student grade cards and transcripts for all students today.  Students are reminded to take these home to parents.  Please keep the transcript and bring it back with you to the course registration meeting next week.  Important to have this information with you.

2 Hour Early Release
LHS will dismiss 2 hours early today (12:30pm)  The early release bell schedule will be followed, but 9th period classes will not meet as dismissal will occur during 8th period.
