College goal Sunday is Feb. 8th. Get your financial aid questions answered.  See the guidance office for further information.  

Winter sports king and queen voting is now open until Friday at 2:30 p.m.. In order to vote please login to your school email and click on the link provided.  You may only vote once.   

Order your 2014-2015 LHS yearbook now.  Orders can be placed at Smart-pay.com or see Mrs. Barry in room 219 for an order form.  Order before February 14 when the price increases.  

Local scholarships will be passed out to seniors and made available to past graduates on February 2nd.  Completed applications will be due back on March 2nd, to the guidance office.  

Softball individual instruction will now be on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Middle school from 3:00 - 4:30.

All student council members and class officers need to meet Thursday, January 29 during morning announcements in the library for pictures for the yearbook.

There will be a Key Club meeting on Monday, February 2 in Mrs. Myers' room 202.

Reminder for Thespian Troupe Members: Showcase rehearsals are this week with Mrs. Riggs in room 316.  Please remember to report for your assigned rehearsal. 

All students involved with Hope Blooms, meeting will start on Monday, January 26 at 3:00 in the high school lecture hall.

Students interested in attending Tri - County,  please make sure you get your completed application into the guidance office as soon as possible.    

Tickets are on sale this week in the athletic office for the Winter Wonderland Dance.  Tickets are $3.00.

Girls soccer- On Tuesday, 1/20 we will have a short meeting regarding winter training. Please meet in Ms. Pichels room immediately following announcements for information. 

Boys tennis- All boys interested in playing tennis this spring should attend a meeting on Thursday January 22, at the beginning of 7th period in room 161 with Coach Seimer.  Important details for conditioning and participation requirements will be presented.  This is a "must attend" meeting.

The Thespian troupe will have a meeting today, Wednesday 1/14, after school in room 316. All members are expected to attend. 

Night school is being offered through Beyond The Bell beginning on Tuesday 1/20.  Classes are being offered in Algebra 1, English 1,2,&3.  Any students who failed the 1st and 2nd 9 weeks in these classes can recover credit this 9 weeks.

Baseball Players- There is hitting today from 5-7 at the middle school.

High School Archery open tryouts will resume today at 6:00 p.m. at the Old Sprouts Building on Chieftain Dr. and will continue through Thursday.  If questions contact Coach Sheets  at 808-2283.

Indoor Track Practice for Sprinters only is cancelled.

CURRENT SOPHOMORES & JUNIORS:  Ohio Business Week (OBW) is an exciting weeklong summer program that gives eligible high school students  from around the state unique, hands on experience with business and entrepreneurship.  Students learn directly from the pros how to establish and run their own company.  Hosted on a college campus, students are also able to experience what campus life is like, and lay the groundwork for a successful future,  If you are interested in attending OBW, please see Ms. Norway in the guidance office, or Mrs. Myers in room 202.
