Equipment turn-in for wrestling will be on Wednesday, February 29th.   Anyone not turning in their equipment that day will be issued a debt slip.

Key Club will have a meeting on Thursday, March 1st, in the Library after the morning announcements.   We will have a group picture on this day.

Boys Track & Field will have a meeting for those planning to participate this Spring in the Lecture Hall during the morning announcements on Thursday, March 1st.

The LHS Blood Drive is tomorrow, Wednesday, February 29th.  REMEMBER to bring your donor card or a photo ID (driver's license).  A photo ID can also be a printout from Esis with your photo and name.  If you have forgotten what time you donate, a list is on the outside of the Guidance Office door.

Blood Drive at LHS, Feb. 29th  --- Students who have permission slips for the Blood Drive need to have them into Mrs. Kennard, school nurse, by tomorrow, Friday, 2/24.   IF you do not turn them in, your name will be removed from the donor list.  No exceptions.

Balfour Class Ring Company will be at LHS on Wednesday, February 22nd during lunches to take class ring orders.  Ring packets are available in the Athletic Office.   A $70.00 deposit is required at the time you order.   Students may go to balfour.com to look over the selections available.

There is a time change for work call for the Light Crew of the spring musical.  They will meet this Saturday, 2/18, from NOON till 4:00 PM in the theater.  

Coach Black will have a brief meeting today after school in his room (#156) for any boys interested in playing tennis this year.    Please contact him if you are unable to attend.

This is a warning to all students using the school parking lot:

   Entering other student's cars, chalking windows, or any other form of vandalism will result in your parking permit being revoked for the remainder of the school year.   In addition, charges will be pressed in all cases resulting in damage to other vehicles.

Students taking the ACT Test in Athens tomorrow (2/11) will need to watch either WBNS-10TV out of Columbus or WSAZ channel 3 out of West Virginia to see if they are canceling the test due to weather.

Mr. Nate Thomas from Ohio University-Lanacaster will be here on Monday, February 13th in the cafeteria during lunch periods.  If you have any questions about scholarships and/or majors, this would be a good time to talk with him.   Ohio University-Lancaster is still accepting applications.

College-Bound Seniors:   Remind parents to complete your FAFSA form as soon as possible in order to receive federal grants and loans.    There will be a meeting to help with the FAFSA at Hocking College on Sunday, February 12th at 2:00 pm.   All seniors should check their school email for more information concerning College Goal Sunday.

The OSU Extension Office of Hocking County is now enrolling new 4-H members and volunteers.   4-H is open to students who are age 5 in kindergarten through the year they turn 19.   To join, attend the 4-H Expo at the Youth Center on the fairgrounds on February 18th from 10 AM - Noon or call 385-3222.   The snow date for the 4-H Expo is February 25.   Come and learn what 4-H is about!

Girls Indoor Track will need to wear their purple shorts with white Logan shirts for tomorrow's meet.   The van will depart for the meet at 7:00 a.m.   Please arrive by 6:45 a.m.

Attention College Bound Seniors:

You and your parents are reminded the FAFSA needs to be completed as soon as possible in order to receive federal grants and loans.
