Students: Purchase your football game ticket during lunch on Friday, Nov. 1 for only $5.00. (Tickets will only be sold on Friday in the athletic office). You will have your name put into a drawing for a free ticket to be used at a home sporting event of your choice. Each grade level will have a winner. Be a part of the excitement & celebration as our Chieftain Football Team plays for the outright league championship this Friday night! The challenge is on to have the biggest & loudest student section of the year!

Powder Puff participants: If you intend to play in the Powder Puff Football Game on Nov. 8, you must turn in your Emergency Medical and Permission forms to Mr. Mulrooney by tomorrow, 10/25/13.

Students taking the ACT this Saturday, please remember to take the following 4 items with you:  1. Admission ticket  2. 2-number 2 pencils  3. approved calculator  4. photo ID.  If you do not have a photo IDS, see Mrs. Tootle in the guidance office for an identification letter.

Sign up in the Athletic office for the Pep bus to Gallia, and get your permission slip from Wendy. Beyond the Bell is sponsoring a pep bus to Gallia for this Friday night's football game (10/25) . With a win, the team will regain league championship status. Our team needs your voice and support! Transportation is free! Encourage your friends to go! Go Chiefs!

"How you see your home town" photography contest, sponsored by Hope Blooms is open to students grades 5-12. Photos will be on display at the Bowen House from April 29-May 3. Judging will take place on May 3rd at a reception for all participants. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd place finishers in both middle & high school. Submissions are limited to three pictures per student. Questions? Need to borrow a camera? High School students, see Ms. Norway in the guidance office @ LHS or Middle School students, Ms. Shuttlworth @ LHMS. Students can email questions if they choose to hopeblooms@hotmail.com. ACT practice sessions will take place prior to each ACT administration this year. To sign up for the October practice sessions please email Alyssa Burns through the school website or see her on Monday to sign up. Sessions will take place immediately after school until 3:15, Monday - Thursday for two weeks beginning this Monday, 10/7/13.

Key Club : The organizational meeting of the Key Club will be held on Tuesday, October 8 after the morning announcements in the Lecture Hall. Students interested in being a member of this organization for this school year should attend the meeting. See Mrs. Myers in room 202 if you have questions.

There will be no Beyond the Bell clubs after school today (Thursday 10/3), however, there is still driver's ed tonight.

Homecoming Dance: Saturday Oct. 12. Tickets will be $3.00 and will go on sale next week in the athletic office during lunch periods.

Students - Catch Football Friday Night Fever by purchasing your game ticket for only $5.00 in the athletic office during your lunch period on Friday. Seniors who took Chemistry or AP Chemistry last year: If you are interested in competing in an Ohio University Chemistry contest to possibly earn a scholarship to attend Ohio University next year, go to room 250 (Mrs. Thompson) after the morning announcements on Thursday 10/3.
