All thespian troupe members and company members of Who Will Carry the Word?, there will be a very important meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 4th in room 316, right after school.
All troupe and company members are required at this meeting.



Crew Watch for The Outsiders is Wed., Dec. 5th from 3 to 5:30 in the theatre. All cast and crew are required to attend.

Any student taking the ACT in December, Beyond the Bell is offering a FREE ACT prep class next week, 12/3-7, Monday through Thursday, 2:30-4:30 & Friday, 2:30-3:30.

Any student registered for the December ACT test needing help loading their picture, please see your guidance counselor.


The Plan Test for sophomores planning to attend a 4-year college will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 12th. A sign up sheet is available in the guidance office.
The deadline to sign up is Dec. 7th. The cost is $15.00. Please make checks payable to LHS. Payment is due to Mrs. Debi Tootle on or before Dec. 7th.

Registration forms for the Beyond the Bell after school program can be turned in to Wendy in the athletics office or Ms.Kline in room 145. This is a free program open to ALL students.


The High School Archery Program will begin the 2012-2013 archery season on Tuesday October 2nd @ 6:00 p.m. with a sign up session & parent meeting.
All practices (and signup, Tuesday) will be held at the old Sprouts (Enterprise School) building located @ 28841 Chieftain Dr., Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00.
Please come & tryout and help the high school team hold onto their state championship! Please contact the high school head coach David Sheets @ 1-740-808-2283 with any questions or concerns.


Juniors, remember to sign up in the guidance office for the PSAT test.
The cost is $15.00 and needs to be paid on or before October 12. Please make check payable to LHS.

Students who have signed up for AP courses for next year are reminded that June 1st is the deadline to drop classes.  After June 1st, a student will receive WF for dropping.   Also, all summer assignments must also be completed or you will receive a WF.

 To all archery members and anyone else interested.   This Saturday there is a 3-D shoot in Logan that you can attend.   There will be 30 3-D targets set up in a wooded area for you to shoot.  Any type of bow is allowed (including the school Genesis bow).  Awards will be given.   Only $5.00.   Stop by the High School Office for a flyer with more details.

Senior letters that were written when you were in 8th grade will be available in the Guidance Office. 

Tomorrow, Friday, May 4th, there will be an election for a Student School Board Representatives in grades 9, 1o and 11.   The election process will take place during the lunch periods.   If you do not have a lunch period, see Mr. Ramage.

The deadline for applying for the June 9th ACT is May 4th.  All college-bound juniors should take the ACT at least once during their junior year.   Students may apply on-line atwww.actstudent.org.   Also, some students may qualify for a fee waiver if they are on free/reduced meals.  Please see your counselor if there are any questions.

American Red Cross will be here at LHS on May 2nd for a Blood Drive.   An ARC Representative will be here today during lunch periods to sign up students that want to donate.   If you are 16 yrs. old, you will need a signed parental permission slip.  Students 17 yrs. old or older may sign up without one.  MRS. Talent Show rehearsal begins at 3:00 this afternoon, Wed. 4/18, in the theater.  Please report promptly at your assigned rehearsal time.  Failure to participate in rehearsal will result in removal from the talent show.   IF you have not yet turned your information form into Mrs. Riggs, please place it in her mail box before the end of the day today.
