Any boy interested in participating in indoor track needs to sign up in Mr. Teti's room sometime this week.

The LHS ART Department is proud to announce the names of three LHS Art students that were chosen to receive  Honorable MEntions in this years 2015 Scholastic Art and Writing Competition. 

24 LHS Art Students participated in this years Scholastic Art and Writing competition this year among 1500 other competitors from around the state of Ohio.

The following LHS students received Honorable Mentions:

Anna Hoellrich for her painting: Stepping Up

National Honor Society induction  practice will take place Thursday during 1st period. 

All students interested in auditioning for this year's musical should sign up on the sheet outside Mrs. Riggs' room.

Open auditions for the chorus start after school in Mr. Schetters room.   

Ugly Christmas Sweater contest is being sponsored by Student Council on December 19.  The student with the ugliest sweater at each lunch will win a $10 Pizza Crossing gift certificate.  The staff member with the ugliest sweater will win a $10 Pizza Crossing gift certificate as well.     

To All National Honor Society, Key Club, and Student Council Members that need community service time.  Please see Wendy in the Athletic Office.  

Beyond The Bell- New clubs will be forming January 6.  Drivers Ed is available to registered Beyond the Bell students.  Registration forms for Beyond The BEll are available in the Guidance office, Athletic office and room 116.  Please see Mr. Hacker in room 148 or Mrs. Huntsberger in room 116 with questions.

There will be a brief meeting for all current and new NHS members on Thursday morning, December 11 after the morning announcements in the lecture hall.

Student Council will be selling candy cane grams during lunches Thursday and Friday.  2 for $1.00, 6 for $5.00.

There will be a brief meeting for all girls interested in running cross country next fall on Thursday, December 18 at the beginning of 9th period in the gymnasium.  There will also be a brief meeting for all girls interested in indoor track on Thursday, December 18, at the beginning of 9th period in the gym.

Key Club - There will be a KEy Club meeting after school today.  Also Key Club Winter Coat drive begins today.  This is for all students who wish to bring in new or gently used coats, hats, gloves and scarves to first period.  The ist period class with the most points will receive breakfast on December 18 during first period.

Coat drive December 8 thru December 16.  Students will earn one point for each gently used coat, gloves, hats and scarves.  The first period class that earns the most points will win a free breakfast .

Key Club members- Next meeting is December 8.  Please check EMAIL for the Key Club website and opportunities available this weekend. 

Project Safe and the Athletic Office is hosting Hoops for the Holidays.  Students are encouraged to wear an ugly Christmas sweater to the game and any student that brings a new toy, mittens, hts or scarfs will be admitted free to the game.  Varsity girls and boys both will be playing on Saturday evening.  Support the Chiefs and enjoy some holiday fun!

Senior pictures for the yearbook need to be turned into Mrs. Barry in room 219 by February 28. 

There will be off season baseball work outs at Logan Middle School on Tuesdays and Thursdays  from 5 pm to 7 pm.  

If you paid $5 to participate in the dodgeball tournament and would like to be reimbursed please see Wendy in the Athletic office.
